travelled; arrived; was snowing; had lost; had already called; answered. A reserva foi perdida e as chamadas foram feitas antes da chegada: past perfect. Verifique: had called mostra o que veio antes de arrived.

Atividade 19. Conte uma situação de trabalho

Modelo: Last year I was working on a delivery plan when our main supplier cancelled an order. First, I called two other companies. Then I explained the situation to my manager, who had already heard about the delay. Finally, we found a new supplier, and the customer received the goods on time.

Verifique: was working when, past perfect, first/then/finally.

Atividade 20. Sua história

Modelo: When I moved to Belo Horizonte, I was carrying three boxes up the stairs when I dropped the key. Later I found it. Then I realised that the landlord had given me the wrong flat. After that, I called him. Finally, he brought the right key, and we laughed about it.

Verifique: três tempos, quatro conectores e a ordem lógica.
