Art et création

Un tableau, une sculpture, une fresque dans la rue : savoir parler d’art en anglais, c’est décrire ce que tu vois et dire ce que tu ressens. Dans cette leçon, tu apprends à situer les éléments d’une image et à défendre tes goûts, même quand tu n’aimes pas !

À la fin, tu sais décrire une œuvre d'art, dire ce qu'elle t'évoque et donner ton avis sur différentes formes d'art.

Questions fréquentes

Comment dire « ça me fait penser à » en anglais ?

On dit it reminds me of, suivi d'un nom : It reminds me of the sea. Ne dis pas it reminds me to, qui veut dire « ça me rappelle de faire quelque chose ».

Quelle différence entre « painting » et « picture » ?

A painting est une œuvre peinte. A picture est plus général : une image, une photo ou un dessin. Pour un tableau de musée, painting est le mot le plus précis.

Comment décrire un tableau à l'oral ?

Commence par le type d'œuvre et le sujet, puis situe les éléments avec in the foreground et in the background, et termine par ton avis et ce que l'œuvre t'évoque.
