Correction de l’exercice 1 : Repérer les formes irrégulièresRecopier la forme irrégulière de chaque phrase, puis indiquer s'il s'agit d'un prétérit ou d'un participe passé.

Classer chaque verbe dans le bon schéma : A-A-A, A-B-A, A-B-B ou A-B-C.

Écrire le prétérit de chaque verbe.

Écrire le participe passé de chaque verbe.

Compléter les formes manquantes.

- fly – flew – flown

Compléter chaque phrase avec le verbe entre parenthèses au prétérit.

Compléter chaque phrase au present perfect avec le participe passé du verbe entre parenthèses.

Compléter avec le prétérit ou le participe passé du verbe entre parenthèses.

Récrire chaque phrase à la forme indiquée.
- We didn’t see the film.
- Did she buy a new bag?
- He didn’t go to school by bike.
- Did they eat pizza?
- I didn’t find my keys.
- Did you tell the truth?
Chaque phrase contient une erreur sur un verbe irrégulier. Corriger la phrase.
- Yesterday I went to the cinema.
- She has written a long letter.
- Did you see the match?
- We bought some apples.
- He has eaten all the cake.
- They didn’t come to the party.
Traduire chaque phrase en anglais en employant un verbe irrégulier.
- Yesterday I saw a fox in the garden.
- We lost the match.
- She wrote a postcard to her grandmother.
- I have already read this book.
- They came on foot.
- My father taught me to swim.
Écrire un court texte de six à huit phrases au prétérit pour raconter une sortie ou des vacances. Employer au moins six verbes irréguliers différents, puis les souligner.
- Exemple de réponse : Last summer I went to Scotland with my family. We took the train to Edinburgh. On the first day, we saw the castle and we ate fish and chips. My sister bought a tartan scarf. In the evening, I wrote a postcard to my best friend. I slept very well that night!
- Vérifier : chaque verbe au prétérit, aucun -ed sur un verbe irrégulier, la base verbale après didn’t si une négation est employée.
Comment progresser après ce corrigé
Notez les verbes sur lesquels vous vous êtes trompé et ajoutez-les à vos flashcards à revoir. Refaites ensuite les exercices 3, 4 et 8 quelques jours plus tard, sans regarder le tableau.
