Solución del examen con criterios de puntuación. La nota máxima es 10. Se descuenta medio punto por cada error repetido de concordancia y se acepta cualquier traducción correcta de sentido equivalente. En la redacción valora la estructura impersonal antes que el vocabulario.

Pregunta 1. Completa con is, are o was (1 punto)

Criterios: 0,25 por cada concordancia correcta; there + plural pide are.
Pregunta 2. Elige la opción correcta (1 punto)
(a) is said · (b) is feared · (c) thought · (d) are known
Criterios: 0,25 por acierto; el participio va tras be.
Pregunta 3. Reescribe con it (1 punto)
(a) It is said that the mayor owns three flats. (b) It is believed that the lake is polluted. (c) It is reported that the minister is ill.
Criterios: It + is + participio + that; 0,33 por frase correcta.
Pregunta 4. Reescribe con el sujeto (1 punto)
(a) The chef is thought to live in Lima. (b) Sales are expected to grow. (c) The singer is reported to be recording in Austin.
Criterios: sujeto, is/are, participio, to + infinitivo.
Pregunta 5. Hecho anterior (1 punto)
(a) The vase is said to have broken last week. (b) The thief is believed to have left by the window. (c) The temple is thought to have been built in 1100.
Criterios: to have + participio; 0,33 por frase.
Pregunta 6. Corrige los errores (1 punto)
(a) It is said that the museum is closed. (b) Ximena is said to have won the race. / It is said that Ximena won the race. (c) The ministers are expected to arrive.
Criterios: falta de it, it says incorrecto, concordancia del plural.
Pregunta 7. Traduce al inglés (1 punto)
(a) The mayor is believed to be planning to resign. (b) The author is known to have been born in Cork. (c) The festival is expected to attract a lot of people.
Criterios: estructura impersonal correcta, 0,33 por frase; se acepta It is believed that….

Criterios: 0,5 por respuesta; se acepta una contestación breve.

Criterios: dos estructuras distintas, concordancia, ortografía; 0,25 por cada criterio.
