Ejercicio 13. Reescribe con inversión

Ejercicio 16. Rebate una afirmación
Modelo: I’ll grant you that some people lose focus at home. However, that is not true of everyone, and the offices we left were full of interruptions too. Last year our team finished more projects on time while working remotely. Surely the real question is not where we work, but how well we communicate. Isn’t it time to improve that instead?
Concesión + argumento con dato + pregunta retórica.
Comprueba: 60–80 palabras, una concesión, un argumento, una pregunta retórica, verbos correctos.
Ejercicio 17. Analiza los movimientos del debate
- Concede que las distracciones son reales.
- But with respect, that overlooks…
- Una pregunta retórica (who decides…?).

Ejercicio 18. Corrige el párrafo
Errores: am not agree, discussed about, people is, orden tras Not only.
I don’t agree with the proposal. Actually, the council has discussed it for months, and the people are tired of waiting. Not only is the plan expensive, but it is also slow.
Ejercicio 19. Mediación: transmite el mensaje en inglés
Modelo: Hi Mark, the client in Toronto is happy with the price but would like delivery in four weeks instead of six. I think we could agree to that, provided they bring forward the payment. Would you be comfortable putting that to them?
Transmite precio, plazo y condición con tono diplomático.
Comprueba: 40–60 palabras, las tres ideas, provided o as long as, pregunta final.
Ejercicio 20. Declaración de apertura
Modelo: Good evening. Granted, a later start would mean a busier timetable for teachers. But consider the evidence. Teenagers tend to fall asleep later for biological reasons, not out of laziness. Tired students learn less, forget more and argue more. Who benefits when a sixteen-year-old sits through first period half asleep? Not the student, not the teacher, not the school. Starting at 9:30 is not a luxury; it is a simple, cheap and sensible change. For these reasons, I urge you to support the motion.
Concesión + pregunta retórica + regla de tres.
Comprueba: 90–110 palabras, los tres recursos, tono formal, cierre claro.
