Singular o incontable: there is; plural: there are. En pregunta se invierte: is there / are there.

Las preguntas empiezan por la palabra interrogativa o por el verbo.

Frases modelo.

Ejercicio 6. Lee el anuncio
Busca cada dato en el anuncio.
1 It is $1,450 a month. · 2 No, bills are not included. · 3 No, pets are not allowed. · 4 Viewings are on Saturdays, from 10 to 1.
Ejercicio 7. Corrige el error
El verbo to be o there is va antes del sustantivo; con 3.ª persona se usa doesn’t + verbo base; con plural hace falta there are; have cambia a has.

Ejercicio 8. Preposiciones de lugar
On + planta, in + edificio, at + número, next to y near para cercanía.

Nota: en la frase 5, on the corner se usa para «en la esquina».
Ejercicio 9. Responde al propietario
Responde con frases completas.

Ejercicio 10. Presente simple de los problemas
Tercera persona singular: -s; negación: doesn’t + verbo base; plural sin -s.

Ejercicio 11. Lee el correo del propietario
Compara con el correo.

Ejercicio 12. Traduce al español
Viewing es «visita», no «vista».

The rent is 700 euros a month, and the deposit is one month’s rent. Electricity and water are not included in the price. You can move in on September 1, but parties and pets are not allowed.

Ejercicio 19. Escribe el diálogo de la visita
