Exercice 1 : Compléter avec la forme correcte (3 points)

Compléter chaque phrase avec la forme qui convient.

Exercice 2 : Réécrire avec managed to ou was able to (3 points)

Réécrire chaque phrase avec la structure demandée entre parenthèses.

Exercice 4 : Traduire en anglais (3 points)

Traduire en anglais.

  1. Quand j’étais petit, je savais déjà lire.

Exercice 5 : Compréhension d’un récit (4 points)

Lire le texte, puis répondre en anglais.

As a boy, Daniel could climb any tree in his village, but he had never seen a real mountain. When he turned thirty, he joined an expedition to Ben Nevis. The weather was terrible: the wind could blow a man off his feet.

Despite the fog, the team was able to reach the shelter by dusk. The next morning, Daniel managed to get to the top alone. He couldn’t see anything, but he could hear the wind, and that was enough.

Exercice 6 : Expression écrite (4 points)

Écrire un paragraphe de 60 à 80 mots racontant une réussite difficile, en employant could, was able to, managed to et couldn’t.
