C’est le verbe d’opinion qui porte la négation, pas le verbe qui suit.

On peut aussi garder le nom : whereas Omar can’t stand video games. Le pronom it ou them évite une répétition.

Comment progresser après ce corrigé goûts et opinions
Si vous avez oublié des -ing ou des prépositions, fabriquez une petite carte avec trois lignes : keen on + -ing, fond of + -ing, can’t stand + -ing, et relisez-la chaque jour pendant une semaine. Pour gagner en aisance, donnez votre avis à voix haute sur ce que vous voyez : un plat à la cantine, une série, un cours. Essayez à chaque fois d’ajouter une opposition avec but ou whereas : vos phrases deviendront plus riches et plus naturelles.
