Exercice 1 : there is ou there are ?

Complète avec There is ou There are.

  1. ___ a dog in the picture.
  2. ___ three children on the left.
  3. ___ a big tree in the middle.
  4. ___ flowers on the table.
  5. ___ a cat at the bottom.
  6. ___ two birds at the top.
Exercice 2 : associe l’émotion

Associe chaque mot anglais à sa traduction.

  1. happy
  2. sad
  3. scary
  4. funny
  5. strange
  6. boring

a. bizarre — b. drôle — c. ennuyeux — d. joyeux — e. triste — f. qui fait peur

Exercice 3 : scary ou scared ? boring ou bored ?

Choisis le bon mot.

  1. This music is (scary / scared).
  2. I am (scary / scared) of the dark.
  3. The film is (boring / bored).
  4. Tom is (boring / bored) in the museum.
  5. The monster in the painting is (scary / scared).
  6. She is (boring / bored) because it’s raining.
Exercice 4 : où est-ce ?

Regarde le schéma et complète avec on the left, in the middle, on the right, at the top.

Exercice 5 : décris l’action

Mets le verbe entre parenthèses au présent en be + -ing.

  1. The girl (smile) ___.
  2. The children (dance) ___.
  3. A man (play) ___ the guitar.
  4. The grandmother (carry) ___ a turkey.
  5. The family (sit) ___ around the table.
  6. The dog (sleep) ___ on the left.
Exercice 6 : décris la musique

Écris le contraire de l’adjectif souligné.

  1. The music is fast. → No, it’s ___.
  2. The song is loud. → No, it’s ___.
  3. It’s a happy song. → No, it’s a ___ song.
  4. The colours are bright. → No, they are ___.
  5. The picture is beautiful. → No, it’s ___.
Exercice 7 : remets dans l’ordre

Remets les mots dans l’ordre pour faire une phrase.

  1. it / like / I / because / funny / it’s
  2. me / it / feel / makes / happy
  3. can / I / a / see / cat
  4. think / I / beautiful / it’s
  5. the / plays / she / piano
  6. don’t / it / I / like
Exercice 8 : traduis en anglais
  1. Il y a une famille sur ce tableau.
  2. Je trouve que c’est drôle.
  3. Cette musique me rend triste.
  4. Je joue de la batterie.
  5. Les couleurs sont vives.
  6. J’ai peur.
Exercice 9 : lis et réponds

Hi, I’m Lily. In my favourite painting, there is a small boy and a big dog. They are sitting on a bench in a park. On the left, there is a lake with ducks. The colours are green and yellow. The boy is laughing because the dog is licking his face. It’s a funny picture. It makes me feel happy. My brother doesn’t like it. He thinks it’s boring!

  1. Who is in the painting?
  2. Where are they sitting?
  3. What is on the left?
  4. What colours are in the painting?
  5. Why is the boy laughing?
  6. What does Lily’s brother think?
Exercice 10 : corrige les erreurs

Chaque phrase contient une erreur. Corrige-la.

  1. There is two cats in the picture.
  2. I am scary of the music.
  3. They are happys.
  4. I play guitar the.
  5. It make me feel sad.
  6. The girl smiling.
Exercice 11 : à toi de décrire

Pense à ton tableau, ta photo ou ta chanson préférée. Écris 5 phrases en anglais : ce que tu vois ou entends, où sont les éléments, ce que tu en penses et ce que tu ressens. Utilise There is / I can see / I think it’s / It makes me feel.
