Exercice 1 : quel type de document ?

Lis chaque début et dis s’il s’agit d’une carte postale, d’une publicité, d’une invitation, d’une bande dessinée, d’un message vocal ou d’une page web.

Exercice 2 : les mots transparents

Donne le sens de ces mots transparents.

Exercice 3 : vrai ami ou faux ami ?

Choisis le bon sens.

  1. a library : (a) une librairie (b) une bibliothèque
  2. a car : (a) une voiture (b) un car
  3. a coin : (a) un coin (b) une pièce de monnaie
  4. a tomato : (a) une tomate (b) une tomme
  5. a cinema : (a) un cinéma (b) un cimetière
Exercice 4 : associe la question

Associe chaque mot interrogatif à la réponse qui convient.

Exercice 5 : lis la carte postale

Exercice 6 : l’affiche

SCHOOL FUN FAIR

Exercice 7 : la bande dessinée

Case 1 — Max: Look, Mum! I can make a cake!

Case 2 — Max: Flour, eggs, sugar… and chocolate!

Case 3 — Mum: Max! The kitchen is a mess!

Case 4 — Max (souriant, couvert de farine): But the cake is delicious!

Vrai ou faux ? Justifie avec un mot du texte.

  1. Max wants to make a pizza.
  2. He uses eggs and sugar.
  3. There is no chocolate in the cake.
  4. Mum is happy with the kitchen.
  5. Max thinks the cake is good.
Exercice 8 : le message vocal

Lis la transcription du message comme si tu l’écoutais, puis complète le tableau.

Hello Lucy, it’s Ella. Do you want to come to the cinema with me on Wednesday? The film starts at half past two. My mum can take us in her car. Text me, OK? Bye!

Exercice 9 : le mot répété

Trouve le mot répété dans chaque petit texte et dis quel est le sujet.

  1. My dog is called Rex. My dog loves balls. I walk my dog every day.
  2. Pizza is my favourite food. I eat pizza on Fridays. My dad makes a great pizza.
  3. I love the beach. At the beach, I swim and I play volleyball. The beach is near my house.
  4. Snow is fantastic! We make a snowman with the snow. The snow is white and cold.
  5. My school is big. There are 800 students at my school. My school has a library.
Exercice 10 : devine grâce au contexte

Devine le sens du mot en gras grâce au contexte.

  1. It’s raining. Take your umbrella!
  2. I’m hungry. Can I have a sandwich?
  3. The lighthouse is on the rocks near the sea. Its light helps the boats.
  4. Happy birthday! Here’s your present. Open it!
  5. I brush my teeth with my toothbrush.
Exercice 11 : l’invitation

Hi everyone! It’s Halloween! Come to my house on 31st October at 6 pm. Wear a costume: a witch, a ghost or a vampire! There are sweets and games. Address: 12 Park Road. From Olivia

  1. Qui invite ?
  2. Pour quelle fête ?
  3. Quel jour et à quelle heure ?

Exercice 12 : explique à un camarade

Ton camarade ne lit pas l’anglais. Résume-lui en français, en deux ou trois phrases, l’invitation d’Olivia (exercice 11) : l’essentiel seulement.
