Correction de l’exercice 11 : production guidée

Exemple de paragraphe modèle :

The Irish border was drawn in 1921, when the island was partitioned between a Catholic-majority South and a Protestant-majority North that remained in the UK. It is about 500 km long. During the Troubles, it was a militarised line, with soldiers, watchtowers and endless checkpoints. The Good Friday Agreement of 1998 changed everything: power was shared, people were allowed to be Irish, British or both, and the border became almost invisible. However, Brexit revived old fears, because the UK left the single market and checks had to take place somewhere. They were finally moved to the ports, which angered many unionists. Nevertheless, for most young people, the border is no longer a wall but a line they cross every day. To some extent, the real divisions are now in people’s minds rather than on the map.
