Attention : a cartoon désigne un dessin humoristique, pas forcément un dessin animé.
- The sun is in the top right-hand corner.

- The dog is sleeping in the bottom right-hand corner (ou in the foreground, on the right).

- there is : on accorde avec le premier élément, an old map.

- looks : tired est un adjectif.
- looks like : a spaceship est un nom.
- seems to : suivi de la base verbale be.
- look : dark et heavy sont des adjectifs.
- looks like : a famous singer est un nom.
- seem to : il faut to devant be.
- They might be brothers.
- He must be cold.
- The woman might be a teacher.
- It must be a holiday.
- The picture might have been taken in Scotland. Réponse plus simple acceptée : It might be Scotland.
Might exprime un doute, must une déduction presque sûre, fondée sur un indice visible.

- In the background, we can see mountains. (ou We can see mountains in the background.)
- It is a colour photo.
- In the top left-hand corner, there is a clock.
- She seems to be lost.
- I like this picture because it’s funny.

Comment progresser après ce corrigé
Entraîne-toi avec n’importe quelle image : une affiche dans la rue, une photo de ton téléphone, une couverture de livre. Dis à voix haute une phrase pour chaque étape (présenter, situer, supposer, réagir), en chronométrant une minute. Note sur un carnet les erreurs qui reviennent, en particulier on/in the picture et look/look like, et relis-les avant chaque oral.
