Contrôle raconter un souvenir : énoncé

Exercice 1 : Mettre au passé (4 points)

Compléter chaque phrase avec le verbe entre parenthèses, au prétérit.

1. When I was six, I (fall) ___ off my bike.

2. Last winter, we (build) ___ a snowman.

3. It (be) ___ my birthday and everybody (sing) ___ for me.

4. My grandfather (tell) ___ us a funny story.

5. I (not forget) ___ that day.

6. We (arrive) ___ at the beach at noon.

Exercice 2 : Choisir le connecteur (3 points)

Compléter chaque phrase avec first, then, after that, finally, suddenly ou when.

1. ___, we packed our bags.

2. We walked in the forest. ___, we heard a strange noise.

3. ___ we got home, it was dark.

4. We had lunch. ___, we played football.

5. ___, we went to bed, very tired.

6. We got on the bus and ___ we travelled for two hours.

Exercice 3 : Remettre un récit dans l’ordre (3 points)

Remettre ces phrases dans l’ordre pour former un récit cohérent. Donner la suite de lettres.

a. Then we ate the cake and sang a song.

b. Finally, my friends gave me a big present.

c. On my tenth birthday, my mum made a chocolate cake.

d. First, my friends arrived with balloons.

Exercice 4 : Lire un souvenir (4 points)

Lire le texte, puis répondre en anglais.

I remember my first day at secondary school. It was a cold, grey morning and I was very nervous. I walked into the playground and I saw hundreds of pupils. I didn’t know anybody. Suddenly, a boy with red hair smiled at me and asked, « Are you new? » His name was Sam. We talked for ten minutes, and after that, we went into the classroom together. Today, Sam is still my best friend.

1. What was the weather like on that morning?

2. How did the narrator feel?

3. Who spoke to the narrator?

4. Is Sam still a friend today?

Exercice 5 : Corriger les erreurs (3 points)

Récrire chaque phrase en corrigeant l’erreur.

1. Yesterday I go to the park with my cousin.

2. We was very happy that day.

3. She didn’t saw the dog.

4. When I was young, I am afraid of the dark.

5. After, we went home.

6. They arrived at the station and then they takes the train.

Exercice 6 : Raconter un souvenir (3 points)

Rédiger un court récit de 5 phrases au passé pour raconter un souvenir d’enfance, avec au moins deux connecteurs.
