Exemple de réponse modèle :
Dear Jamie, I understand how you feel: nobody wants to feel left out. But this is peer pressure, and you don’t have to give in to it. If I were you, I’d tell your friends calmly that you don’t want to skip school. You should explain why: you could get into trouble and miss important lessons. Why don’t you suggest another plan, like meeting them after school on Friday? A true friend will respect your choice. If they laugh at you, maybe they are not friends you can rely on. You don’t need to change to fit in: just be yourself. Good luck, you can do it!
Comment progresser après ce corrigé
Les erreurs de cet exercice viennent souvent des prépositions et des verbes à particule : note-les par paires (in love with, married to, a crush on, rely on, break up with) et fais des phrases sur des personnages de séries que tu connais. Pour meet et know, retiens la question à te poser : s’agit-il d’un moment précis (met) ou d’un état qui dure (know, have known) ? Enfin, relis la lettre modèle à voix haute pour fixer les tournures de conseil.
