Exercice 1 : say ou tell ?Complète avec say, said, tell ou told.
- She ___ me that she was tired.

- Don’t ___ lies!
- Tom ___ to his friend that the match was cancelled.
- The teacher ___ the students to sit down.
Rapporte les paroles avec le verbe au présent (says / say). Le temps ne change pas, mais les pronoms et les possessifs, oui.
- Emma: « I love my dog. » → Emma says…
- Tom: « My brother is annoying. » → Tom says…
- The twins: « We are hungry. » → The twins say…
- Lucy: « I can’t find my keys. » → Lucy says…
- Mr and Mrs Brown: « Our garden is too small. » → Mr and Mrs Brown say…
- Jack (to me): « I’ll call you. » → Jack says…
Rapporte chaque phrase avec said. Attention aux temps et aux pronoms.
- « I am tired, » said Mia.
- « We live in Leeds, » they said.
- « I’m watching TV, » said Ben.
- « I will help you, » Grandma said to me.
- « I can swim, » said Leo.
- « We don’t like spinach, » said the kids.

Associe chaque mot du discours direct à son équivalent au discours indirect.

Rapporte chaque question avec if.
- « Are you ready? » Tom asked me.

- « Did you finish your homework? » the teacher asked me.
Rapporte chaque question en gardant le mot interrogatif. N’oublie pas l’ordre sujet + verbe.

- « How old is your sister? » Tom asked me.
- « Who can help me? » Mrs Hill asked.

Rapporte avec told ou asked + personne + (not) to.

- « Please help me, » Grandpa asked Tom.

Chaque phrase contient une erreur. Réécris-la correctement.
- She said me that she was ill.
- He asked me where did I live.
- They told that they were happy.
- Mum told me don’t go out.
- Paul asked if I am French.
- She said she will come.
Lis le dialogue entre Ella et Josh, puis rapporte chaque réplique avec le verbe indiqué. La scène se passe un lundi ; tu la racontes le samedi suivant.

Josh: I can’t. I have a maths test tomorrow.
Ella: Why don’t you revise this afternoon?
Josh: I’m working at my uncle’s shop this afternoon.

Traduis en français.
