Exercice 1 : Nomme la pièce

Traduis le nom de chaque pièce en anglais.

Exercice 2 : Dans quelle pièce ?

Dis dans quelle pièce on trouve chaque objet.

  6. a wardrobe
Exercice 3 : Quel type de maison ?

Lis la description et écris : detached house, semi-detached house, terraced house, flat, bungalow.

  1. It’s in a big building with a lift.
  2. It’s in a long row of identical houses.
  3. It’s alone, with a garden all around it.
  4. It’s got no upstairs: all the rooms are on the ground floor.
  5. Two houses are joined by one wall.
Exercice 4 : Les lieux du quartier

Où vas-tu ? Complète avec library, baker’s, swimming pool, bus stop, cinema, park.

Exercice 5 : Lis le plan et complète

Observe le plan de la maison de Ben, puis complète avec upstairs ou downstairs.

Exercice 7 : Corrige l’erreur

Exercice 8 : Traduis en anglais
  1. J’habite dans une maison mitoyenne.

  6. Ma pièce préférée est le jardin.
Exercice 9 : Traduis en français
  1. We live in a semi-detached house.

Exercice 10 : Comprendre un dialogue

Lis le dialogue puis réponds True ou False.

Leo: Hi Amira! Is your new home a house?

Amira: No, it’s a flat on the fourth floor of a block of flats in Glasgow.

Leo: How many bedrooms are there?

Amira: Two. I share my bedroom with my little sister. The living room is big and the kitchen is small.

Leo: And what about the neighbourhood?

Amira: It’s busy and a bit noisy, but there’s a great library and a swimming pool. My neighbours are an old couple from Ireland. They’re really kind.
