Exemple d’essai modèle :

Two centuries ago, Mary Shelley imagined a scientist who created life and then ran away from his creature. Today, with gene editing and private space travel, her question is more relevant than ever: should there be limits to scientific progress? On the one hand, science has made our lives longer and easier. Vaccines, the internet and bionic limbs show that research can save lives and give people more freedom. Banning research would also push it underground. On the other hand, some innovations raise serious risks. When a researcher edited the DNA of two babies in 2018, he changed future generations without their consent. In space, thousands of satellites and pieces of debris now threaten a common good. In my opinion, progress should not be stopped, but it must be regulated. It is our responsibility, as citizens, to debate these choices, and scientists should be held accountable for their work. Just because we can doesn’t mean we should.
