Ces exercices goûts et opinions vous apprennent à dire ce que vous aimez, ce que vous pensez et à comparer votre avis avec celui des autres. Vous travaillerez l’échelle des goûts, le verbe en -ing, les mots de liaison, puis un dialogue et un sondage de classe.

Les exercices goûts et opinions

Exercice 1 : classez les expressions

Indiquez pour chaque expression si elle est très positive (++), positive (+), neutre (=), négative (−) ou très négative (−−).

  1. I love…
  2. I can’t stand…
  3. I don’t mind…
  4. I’m keen on…
  5. I hate…
  6. I’m fond of…
  7. I don’t like…
  8. I’m crazy about…
Exercice 2 : le verbe en -ing

Mettez le verbe entre parenthèses à la bonne forme.

  1. I’m keen on ___ (swim).
  2. She can’t stand ___ (get up) early.
  3. We are fond of ___ (bake) cakes.
  4. He doesn’t mind ___ (wait) for the bus.
  5. I love ___ (dance) at parties.
  6. They hate ___ (do) the washing-up.
  7. Are you keen on ___ (play) chess?
  8. My dad is fond of ___ (watch) old films.
Exercice 3 : on, of ou rien ?

Complétez avec on, of ou Ø (rien).

  1. I’m keen ___ drawing.
  2. Lucy is fond ___ animals.
  3. I can’t stand ___ horror films.
  4. Are you keen ___ video games?
  5. My grandma is very fond ___ her garden.
  6. He doesn’t mind ___ cold weather.
Exercice 4 : but, whereas ou however ?

Complétez avec le mot de liaison qui convient.

  1. I like maths, ___ I don’t like history.
  2. My brother loves rap, ___ I prefer pop music.
  3. The film was very long. ___, it was really exciting.
  4. Tom is keen on sport, ___ his sister prefers reading.
  5. I wanted to go to the park. ___, it was raining.
  6. Cats are quiet animals, ___ dogs are often noisy.
Exercice 5 : passez à la forme négative

Récrivez chaque opinion à la forme négative, en mettant think ou believe à la forme négative.

  1. I think football is boring.
  2. I think she is right.
  3. I believe this book is interesting.
  4. I think they like pizza.
  5. I think the test was easy.
  6. I think it will rain tomorrow.
Exercice 6 : remettez les mots dans l’ordre
  1. opinion / my / in / is / art / important
  2. think / I / great / is / this / song
  3. fond / is / she / of / cooking
  4. stand / can’t / I / noise / the
  5. agree / you / with / I
  6. keen / not / on / I’m / jazz
Exercice 7 : traduisez en anglais
  1. À mon avis, ce film est génial.
  2. Je ne supporte pas de faire mes devoirs le dimanche.
  3. Ma sœur adore lire.
  4. Je suis d’accord avec toi.
  5. Je ne pense pas que ce soit une bonne idée.
  6. Il est passionné de skate.
  7. J’aime le chocolat, alors que mon frère le déteste.
  8. Ça ne me dérange pas d’attendre.
Exercice 8 : corrigez l’erreur

Chaque phrase contient une erreur. Récrivez-la correctement.

  1. I am agree with you.
  2. I’m keen of tennis.
  3. She can’t stands rap music.
  4. I don’t mind to help you.
  5. According to me, this game is boring.
  6. Is it true? – I think that no.
  7. He is fond to animals.
  8. I love swim in the sea.
Exercice 9 : devant l’affiche du film

Lisez le dialogue, puis répondez aux questions en anglais.

Jake: Look at this poster! Do you want to see Space Rangers on Saturday?

Amy: Hmm, I’m not really keen on science fiction. I prefer comedies.

Jake: Really? I love films about space. In my opinion, the special effects are amazing.

Amy: Maybe, but I can’t stand long fight scenes. They’re so noisy!

Jake: I don’t think there are a lot of fights. The story is about friendship.

Amy: OK, I don’t mind giving it a try. However, you’re buying the popcorn!

Jake: Deal! I’m very fond of popcorn anyway.

  1. Which film does Jake want to see?
  2. What kind of films does Amy prefer?
  3. What does Jake think of the special effects?
  4. What can’t Amy stand?
  5. According to Jake, what is the story about?
  6. Does Amy finally accept? Quote the text.
  7. Find two words that introduce a contrast.
Exercice 10 : le sondage de la classe

Observez les résultats du sondage, puis écrivez une phrase par ligne avec whereas.

Exercice 11 : donnez votre avis

Donnez votre avis sur chaque sujet en deux phrases. Utilisez une expression d’opinion, une expression de goût et un mot de liaison (but, whereas ou however).

  3. your favourite film or series
  4. video games
  5. vegetables
