Exercice 1 : les matières

Donnez le nom français de chaque matière.

Exercice 2 : play, do ou go ?

Complétez avec le verbe qui convient.

Exercice 3 : les lieux et les personnes

Exercice 4 : classez les mots

Classez chaque mot dans la bonne catégorie : lieu, personne, matière ou activité.

Exercice 5 : l’emploi du temps de Harry

Observez l’emploi du temps de Harry, élève de Year 8, puis répondez en anglais.

Chaque cours dure une heure, la récréation vingt minutes, et la journée finit à 3.10.

Exercice 6 : l’affiche des clubs

Lisez l’affiche, puis dites si les phrases sont vraies (True) ou fausses (False). Justifiez avec le texte.

Oakfield School – Join a club this term!

Robotics Club – Mondays, 3.15 to 4.30, I.T. room. Build and program your own robot!

Drama Club – Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12.30 to 1.00, school hall. End-of-year show in June!

Chess Club – Wednesdays, 3.15 to 4.15, library. Beginners welcome.

School Choir – Fridays, 12.30 to 1.00, music room. No audition!

Football Team – Thursdays, 3.15 to 4.45, sports field. Bring your boots!

  1. The robotics club meets in the library.
  2. The drama club meets twice a week.
  3. You must be good at chess to join the chess club.
  4. The choir meets at lunchtime.
  5. You need an audition to join the choir.
  6. The football team trains on Thursdays after school.
  7. The drama club is preparing a show for June.
Exercice 7 : le nouvel élève

Complétez le dialogue avec les mots suivants : join, club, subject, spare time, timetable, break.

Olivia: Hi! Are you the new student?

Kenji: Yes, I’m Kenji. Can I see your (1) ___? I don’t know my lessons yet.

Olivia: Sure. Look, we have maths now, and then it’s (2) ___.

Exercice 8 : remettez les mots dans l’ordre

Exercice 9 : corrigez l’erreur

Chaque phrase contient une erreur. Récrivez-la correctement.

Exercice 10 : traduisez en anglais
  1. J’ai anglais le mardi à dix heures.
  2. Ma matière préférée est l’EPS.
  3. Je fais partie du club de théâtre.
  4. Pendant mon temps libre, je joue de la guitare.
  5. Nous déjeunons à la cantine à midi.
  6. Elle fait du judo le mercredi après-midi.
  7. La récréation dure vingt minutes.
  8. Je voudrais m’inscrire au club d’échecs.
Exercice 11 : un e-mail à votre correspondant

Votre correspondant anglais vous demande comment se passe la vie dans votre collège. Écrivez-lui un e-mail de 70 à 90 mots en suivant ces étapes :

  1. Saluez-le et présentez votre collège en une phrase.
  2. Parlez de votre emploi du temps (une journée, une heure).
  3. Donnez votre matière préférée et dites pourquoi.
  4. Présentez un club ou une activité de votre collège.
  5. Racontez ce que vous faites pendant votre temps libre, puis posez-lui une question.
