Complète avec might ou might not selon le sens.

  5. Ask Lucy, she ___ know the answer.

Exercice 3 : Donne des conseils avec ought to

Réponds à chaque problème par un conseil avec ought to ou ought not to et le verbe proposé.

  1. I’ve got a terrible toothache. (see a dentist)
  2. I’m always tired in the morning. (go to bed so late)
  3. My English is not very good. (watch series in English)
  4. I had an argument with my best friend. (apologise)
  5. I spend six hours a day on my phone. (spend so much time online)
  6. I want to get fit. (do some sport)
Exercice 4 : Be able to à tous les temps

Complète avec la bonne forme de be able to.

Observe le règlement, puis écris des phrases avec be allowed to ou not be allowed to.

Choisis la bonne réponse.

Chaque phrase contient une erreur. Recopie-la correctement.

Exercice 8 : Le panneau du club

Observe le panneau et réponds aux questions en anglais.

Exercice 9 : Traduis en anglais

Traduis en choisissant le bon outil pour « pouvoir », « devoir » ou « avoir le droit de ».

Exercice 10 : Traduis en français

Traduis ces phrases de façon naturelle.

Exercice 12 : Production guidée : le règlement idéal

Écris un court texte (8 à 10 phrases) intitulé My ideal school. Respecte ces consignes :

  1. trois phrases avec be allowed to ou not be allowed to (les règles de ton collège idéal) ;
  2. deux phrases avec will be able to (ce que les élèves pourront faire) ;
  3. deux conseils aux professeurs avec ought to ;
  4. une ou deux phrases avec might pour imaginer les réactions des parents.
