Exercice 1 : say ou tell ?Complète avec says ou tells.
- Max ___ that he is hungry.

- Lily ___ her brother that the film starts at eight.
- The sign ___ that dogs aren’t allowed.
Choisis le bon pronom ou le bon possessif.
- Sarah: « I am cold. » → Sarah says that (I / she) is cold.
- Tom: « My bike is broken. » → Tom says that (my / his) bike is broken.
- The twins: « We are bored. » → The twins say that (we / they) are bored.
- Mrs Lee: « I love my job. » → Mrs Lee says that she loves (my / her) job.
- Ben: « Can you help me? » → Ben asks if I can help (me / him).
Rapporte ces phrases en commençant par le verbe donné.
- Anna: « I play the guitar. » → Anna says that…
- Leo: « I don’t like spiders. » → Leo says that…
- Mum: « Your room is messy. » → Mum tells me that…
- Jake and Amy: « We live in Brooklyn. » → They say that…

Rapporte ces questions avec asks if.

Rapporte ces questions avec asks ou wonders et le mot interrogatif.

Remets les mots dans l’ordre.
- asks / she / I / where / live
- wonders / the author / if / is / the city / too big

- if / ask / they / ready / we / are
Chaque phrase contient une erreur. Recopie-la correctement.
- He says me that he is tired.

- Paul says that I am hungry. (Paul parle de lui)

Complète avec would love to, would like to ou wish to et le verbe entre parenthèses. Plusieurs réponses sont parfois possibles.

Traduis ces phrases.
- Elle dit qu’elle est fatiguée.
- Il me dit que son frère est malade.
- Ils demandent si nous avons faim.

- J’adorerais voir la statue de la Liberté.
Ton correspondant anglais t’a envoyé ce message : « I love my new school. My teachers are nice. Do you like your school? What is your favourite subject? » Rapporte son message à un camarade en 4 phrases (says that, asks if, asks what), puis écris une phrase sur un souhait avec I would love to.
