Exercice 1 : Quel type de texte ?Lis chaque extrait et dis de quel type de texte il s’agit : newspaper article, email, extract from a novel, advert, interview, blog post.

SCHOOLGIRL’S SURPRISE IN THE SHED

(1) Last Tuesday evening, ten-year-old Amy Collins from Bristol went into her family’s garden shed to get her bike. (2) She heard a strange noise behind some old boxes. (3) « At first, I thought it was a rat, » she said. (4) « I was terrified and I nearly ran away. » (5) But when she moved the boxes, she discovered a mother fox and three tiny cubs. (6) The mother fox had a wounded leg and couldn’t walk properly. (7) Amy’s parents immediately called a local animal charity. (8) Two volunteers arrived an hour later with a special cage. (9) They took the foxes to a wildlife centre, where a vet treated the mother. (10) « Amy was very sensible: she didn’t touch the animals and she stayed calm, » said one of the volunteers. (11) Last week, the foxes were released in a quiet wood outside the city. (12) Amy watched them disappear between the trees. « I was a bit sad, but mostly proud, » she said. (13) She now wants to become a vet.
