Exercice 1 : Les formes contractées

Écris la forme contractée.

  1. I will
  2. She will
  3. We will not
  4. They will

Exercice 2 : Compléter avec will

Mets le verbe entre parenthèses au futur avec will.

  1. Tomorrow it ___ (be) sunny.
  2. In 2050, people ___ (live) on Mars.
  3. I think you ___ (love) this book.
  4. My sister ___ (be) fourteen next month.
  5. Robots ___ (do) our homework one day.
  6. Don’t worry, I ___ (help) you.
  7. We ___ (see) you next week.
  8. The shop ___ (open) at nine tomorrow.
Exercice 3 : À la forme négative

Mets chaque phrase à la forme négative avec won’t.

  1. It will snow tomorrow.
  2. Cars will fly in 2040.
  3. I will tell your secret.
  4. They will arrive on time.
  5. She will like this present.
  6. We will need umbrellas.
Exercice 4 : Questions et réponses courtes

Transforme chaque phrase en question, puis réponds par une réponse courte selon l’indication.

  1. You will come to my party. (yes)
  2. It will rain this afternoon. (no)
  3. Robots will teach in schools. (yes)
  4. Your brother will be at home. (no)
  5. We will win the match. (yes)
  6. She will remember me. (no)
Exercice 5 : Prédiction ou décision ?

Indique si will exprime une prédiction (P) ou une décision immédiate (D).

  1. In the future, people will travel to the Moon for their holidays.
  2. It’s cold in here. – I’ll close the window.
  3. I think our team will win the cup.
  4. The phone is ringing! – I’ll answer it.
  5. You’ll be a great doctor one day.
  6. I’m thirsty. – Wait, I’ll get you some water.
Exercice 6 : Je m’en occupe !

Réagis à chaque situation par une décision immédiate avec I’ll et l’expression entre parenthèses.

  1. I can’t open this jar. (help you)
  2. It’s dark in here. (turn on the light)
  3. I’m hungry. (make you a sandwich)
  4. The dog wants to go out. (take him for a walk)
  5. I forgot my pencil. (lend you mine)
  6. Someone is at the door. (open it)
Exercice 7 : I think ou I don’t think ?

Écris une phrase avec I think … will (✓) ou I don’t think … will (✗).

  1. it / rain / tomorrow (✓)
  2. cars / fly / in 2040 (✗)
  3. we / have / a test / next week (✓)
  4. people / stop / using phones (✗)
  5. my team / win / the match (✓)
  6. robots / replace / teachers (✗)
Exercice 8 : Chasse aux erreurs

Chaque phrase contient une erreur. Corrige-la.

  1. Tomorrow I will to go to the beach.
  2. She wills be happy.
  3. It will not rains.
  4. Will you helping me?
  5. They don’t will come.
  6. I will be there in tomorrow.
Exercice 9 : Les prédictions de Madame Crystal

Lis le texte de la voyante, puis dis si les affirmations sont vraies (V) ou fausses (F). Corrige les fausses.

Welcome, my dear! Look into my crystal ball… In 2050, cities will be green: there will be gardens on every roof. People won’t drive cars any more; they will travel in small electric pods. Robots will clean the streets and they will cook in restaurants. Children will still go to school, but they will study with holograms. Summers will be very hot, so people will swim in big public pools every day. And you? You will become famous!

  1. In 2050, there will be gardens on roofs.
  2. People will drive big cars.
  3. Robots will clean the streets.
  4. Children won’t go to school.
  5. Summers will be cold.

Exercice 10 : Traduire en anglais

Traduis ces phrases avec will ou won’t.

  1. Il fera beau demain.
  2. Je t’aiderai.
  3. Elle ne viendra pas ce soir.
  4. Est-ce que tu seras là ?
  5. Je pense qu’ils gagneront.
  6. Un jour, les robots parleront comme nous.
Exercice 11 : Remettre dans l’ordre

Remets les mots dans l’ordre pour former une phrase correcte.

Exercice 12 : Le monde en 2050

Écris six prédictions sur le monde en 2050, une par thème. Utilise will, won’t, there will be ou I think… will.
